A testament to Roman opulence, Caesars Palace is an expansive
property on The Las Vegas Strip where high rollers and celebrities
have flocked since the resort opened in 1966.
With lavish panache, Caesars has expanded into a modern, 80-acre
resort. Guests revel in 120,000 square feet of gaming at two casinos
that offer high-limit slot and table games. Roman-style cypresses,
palm trees, marble columns and classical statues enhance the
four-and-one-half acre Garden of the Gods that features four pools,
two spa tubs and luxury cabanas. The Roman theme continues in the
23,000 square-foot spa that offers health treatments and massage
plus aerobics and yoga classes. Additionally, Caesars Palace offers
world-class entertainment with venues that feature Celine Dion and
Elton John.
Guests satisfy their shopping needs at the famous Forum Shops and
the newer Appian Way complex. For dining, the Bradley Ogden
Restaurant celebrates the culinary accomplishments of this San
Francisco Bay area chef who prepares seasonal dishes such as hot and
cold foie gras with kumquats or gnocchi with morels, asparagus and
braised veal. At restaurant 808, guests are served fare such as
roast duck with lilikoi-caramel glaze. Chef Jean-Marie Josselin
achieved culinary fame in Hawaii, and the name of his restaurant
reflects the island's zip code. A third dining choice, Vialé offers
casual ambience and serves traditional Italian fare and specialty
coffees for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Recently renovated, the four-tower Caesars Palace has 2,399
guestrooms and suites that feature Caesar's signature bathrooms with
marble and brass vanities and marble tubs. Tower Rooms boast
nine-foot ceilings, classic décor and oversized jetted bathtubs.

Some guests were "impressed" with their stay at Caesars Palace; others
found it to be "not worth the price." Those who "had an awesome trip"
praised the "spotless" and "extremely comfortable" rooms, the "perfect
location to explore" the Strip and the "superb" and "professional" staff.
There is a free aquarium, which "the kids loved." Those who felt it "could
have been better" complained of rooms that "stink of cigar smoke," a
"filthy" tub with "hair all over" and plumbing that "made clanking noises
at all hours." Some guests "will be back." Others "would not recommend
staying here."
