The legendary Tropicana Resort and Casino is located on
glamorous Las Vegas Boulevard in Las Vegas, Nev.
Business travelers will appreciate the hotel's proximity
to the Las Vegas Convention Center, located four miles
from the hotel.
This landmark property is known for its spectacular "Folies
Bergere" production and extravagant pool area that features
Las Vegas' first swim-up blackjack table. The Tropicana Resort
and Casino, which opened in 1957, preserves Las Vegas
traditions such as showgirls, comedians, crooners, Las Vegas
casino gaming action and budget-priced meals. The hotel's
walls are decorated with countless photographs of singers,
musicians and comedians who have entertained the Tropicana's
guests over the years. Encompassing more than five acres, the
tropically landscaped pool area features outdoor pools
enhanced with lagoons and waterfalls. Hotel amenities include
a separate 1,500- square-foot indoor pool, golf desk, business
center, wireless Internet access and video game arcade. The
on- site spa facility features a full menu of European-style
treatments and massage services. Eight restaurants offer a
variety of dining options around the clock. Pietro's chefs
prepare roast duck, Dover sole and steak Diane at guests'
tables, and the Savanna Steakhouse specializes in beef, duck
and seafood dishes. A covered walkway connects the Tropicana
to the MGM Grand Hotel across the street.
The Tropicana Resort and Casino features 1,876 tastefully
decorated guestrooms. The 21-story Island Tower is located
near the Tropicana Convention Facilities, the tropical gardens
and pool area. Just off the casino floor, the 22-story
Paradise Tower includes guestrooms with exquisite views of the
Strip. The Tropicana's beautiful garden rooms are located in
the low-rise buildings, many of which face the garden pool
area.
Titanic Exhibition:
The Artifact Exhibition is open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
with last admission at 9 p.m. Ticket prices are: Adults (ages
12 to 61) $16.95, Seniors (ages 62 and up) $15.95, Nevada
Residents $13.95. and Children (ages 4 to 11) $9.95. Special
group rates are available. Ticket prices do not include tax
